Disclaimer

This page summarizes, topic by topic, what a CalcuTool.com calculator result is and isn't. It doesn't replace our Terms of Service or Accuracy & Verification pages — read this as a practical summary, and those as the fuller policy and verification process.

Calculator estimates

Every result on this site is an estimate produced by the formula, assumptions, and inputs shown on that calculator's own page — not a guaranteed or certified outcome. Small differences in real-world inputs, rounding, or unmodeled edge cases can change the true figure.

Financial information

Financial calculators (loans, investments, savings, retirement, and similar) illustrate how a formula behaves under the numbers you enter. They are not investment advice, a loan offer, or a guarantee of future returns, interest rates, or fees — actual products from banks and financial institutions vary.

Tax information

Tax calculators apply the slabs, rebates, deductions, and cess rules documented on each calculator's own page as of its "last reviewed" date. Tax law changes (new Finance Acts, revised slabs, amended rebate rules) can make a calculator's figures outdated between reviews, and several calculators explicitly don't model every provision (for example, surcharge above ₹50 lakh, or every individual deduction section) — those scope limits are stated on the calculator itself. These calculators do not constitute tax advice; confirm your actual liability with a qualified tax professional or the Income Tax Department before filing or making a financial decision.

Health information

Health and fitness calculators (BMI, calorie needs, pregnancy timelines, heart rate zones, and similar) provide general estimates based on common formulas, not personalized medical guidance. They cannot account for your individual medical history, conditions, or medications. Consult a doctor or qualified healthcare professional for any health or medical decision.

Government schemes

Calculators covering government schemes (PMAY, PM-KISAN, PPF, EPF, Ayushman Bharat, and similar) reflect the scheme rules and rates documented as of each calculator's "last reviewed" date. Scheme eligibility, subsidy rates, and even whether a scheme is still open for new applicants can change — always verify current status directly with the relevant government portal or agency before relying on a result for an actual application.

Changing rates and rules

Interest rates, tax slabs, scheme parameters, and similar figures are set externally (by the RBI, the Ministry of Finance, EPFO, and other authorities) and are reviewed periodically, not continuously. The "last reviewed" date on each calculator shows when its figures were last checked against the source shown in its Sources section.

Third-party sources

Where a calculator cites an external source (a government portal, regulator, or standards body), that citation reflects the source as it existed on the "reviewed" date shown. We don't control third-party sites and can't guarantee they remain unchanged, available, or accurate after that date.

No professional advice

Nothing on CalcuTool.com is financial, tax, legal, medical, or other professional advice, and no calculator result should be treated as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional about your specific situation.

Accuracy limitations

We aim for every calculator to be formula-correct and clearly scoped, and describe how we check that on our Accuracy & Verification page. Even so, no calculator can account for every real-world variable, and results should be checked against your own numbers before you rely on them for an important decision. If you believe a calculator is producing an incorrect result, please let us know via our Contact page.
